Who Are We Looking For? We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who have a background in microbiology, biology or a related area.

What Will You Work On? We use a range of approaches, including ‘omics, microscopy and molecular microbiology, to study how microbes build biofilms and how they interact with one another and their environment within these communities. The majority of our ongoing projects are focused on studying biofilms in the food chain from “farm to fork”. See the Research page for more information.

What Opportunities Do We Have? We host MSc and PhD students, Postdocs, Final Year and other Undergraduate projects, as well as International Interns. Even when no positions are formally advertised, we do welcome inquiries from motivated people.
